Guiding Principles

• Psychological Safety: Everyone learns at their own pace, no “dumb” questions.

• Emotional Intelligence Lens: All tools and practices are framed through the MSCEIT² domains (Perceive, Connect, Understand, Manage).

• Practical Problem-Solving: Each week ends with a small experiment to apply learning to real, simple business tasks using the Emotional Maths SUMMS project management methodology.

• Collective Reflection: Circles closed with group sharing, feedback, and emotional processing.

Course Framework

Week 1 – Emotional Intelligence & Ethics in AI: Understand how EI skills help navigate AI ethically.

Week 2 – Introduction to Generative AI: Gain a foundational understanding of what generative AI is, how it works, and how it can support business needs.

Week 3 – Everyday Business Problem-Solving with AI: Identify and apply AI to simple, repetitive business tasks that consume time and money.

Week 4 – Introduction to Agentic Automation: Learn how to connect tools to work together automatically and reduce manual effort.

Week 5 – Prompt Engineering as an EI Skill: Develop the ability to create prompts that are precise, ethical, and empathetic.

Week 6 – Saving Money with AI & Automation: Identify areas where AI can cut costs and improve efficiency.

Week 7 – Designing Customer-Centered AI Solutions: Build AI applications that enhance not harm customer trust and relationships.

Week 8 – Stress, Burnout & AI as Support: Use AI as a tool to reduce cognitive and emotional overload.

Week 9 – Building Safe, Inclusive AI Practices: Understand how to apply ethical, inclusive, and privacy-aware practices in AI projects.

Week 10 – Capstone Project & Showcase: Apply all skills to a real business challenge and reflect on growth.
